About Andrew Ho

Dr. Andrew Ho attended the University of California in Irvine for undergraduate studies where he received his Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences in 1995. He received his medical education at the University of California in San Diego from 1995 to 1999. From 2001 to 2006, Dr. Ho completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology Fellowship training at Loma Linda University Medical Center. To further specialize in interventional cardiology, Dr. Ho attended the program at the Baylor School of Medicine/Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston.

Dr. Andrew Ho is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Nuclear Cardiology. Procedures performed by Dr. Ho include pacemaker/loop recorder insertion, echocardiography, stress testing, cardiac catheterization, complex coronary intervention, peripheral vascular intervention (i.e. angioplasty, etc), IVC filter placement, carotid stenting, and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR). Dr. Ho specializes in and performs the majority of his catheterizations via the wrist (radial) artery.

During his training at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Dr. Ho was awarded Chief Resident. He has received various awards in research throughout his training. From 2013 to 2015, Dr. Ho was a principal investigator in 2 major clinical trials involving novel drug therapeutics. Dr. Ho was instrumental in the development of the heart attack treatment (STEMI) program at Temecula Valley Hospital.

Dr. Ho has a strong passion for teaching. His current academic appointments include: Assistant Clinical Professor for the Loma Linda University and U.C. Riverside Schools of Medicine, Core Faculty for the (Internal Medicine/Transitional Year/Sports Medicine) Southwest MEC Residency, and is the Program Director for the Southwest MEC Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship.
